The Main Room
Our main room is the heart of the taverna: long tables, warm light and room for big groups. This is where we eat, celebrate — and on Fridays and Saturdays, dance.
Greek hospitality in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg.
In the Bricks Höfe in Schöneberg you will find a piece of Greece: Taverne Platia. For Athanasios and his team it is not only about good food, but about the feeling of sitting together at the table — easy-going, warm and unhurried. Our kitchen is Greek and Mediterranean: classic starters made for sharing, specialities from the charcoal grill, oven-baked dishes and Greek wines to match. We cook the way we like to eat ourselves — generous, honest and without unnecessary frills. And when it gets later, Platia shows another side. On Fridays and Saturdays dinner turns into dance: the music gets louder, the mood livelier, and people dance between the tables — until 3:00 am.

Our large covered balcony stays open in winter too: patio heaters, blankets and a view into the greenery. A quieter spot if you prefer something cosier.

In the summer months our large courtyard in the Bricks Höfe opens up — sit outside, eat Greek, let the evening run long.
