Welcome to Taverne Platia
Taverne Platia is a piece of Greece in the middle of Berlin — personal, warm and full of life. For Athanasios and his team it's not only about good food, but about the feeling of sitting together at the table and enjoying the evening. Our kitchen stands for Greek classics, honest flavours and dishes that are best shared. Hospitality belongs to that just as much: easy-going, attentive and personal. And when it gets later, Platia shows another side. Especially on Fridays and Saturdays, music, a good mood and dancing are simply part of the evening.

Our kitchen is Greek, authentic and full of flavour. Classics, specialities from the grill and Mediterranean dishes are served the way we like to eat them ourselves: generous and without unnecessary frills.
Garides Tilichtes
Fried shrimp with garlic–herb filling wrapped in puff pastry, served with chili mayonnaise
Dolmadakia Spitika
Hand-rolled vine leaves filled with rice and minced meat, served with egg–lemon sauce
Spalla
Braised lamb shoulder (very tender) in red wine and thyme sauce, served with a side dish of your choice
Dinner & Dance
On Fridays and Saturdays, dinner turns into dance. After the meal the music gets louder, the mood livelier, and it's not unusual to see dancing between the tables. Greek music, familiar sounds and a crowd that loves to celebrate — at our Dinner & Dance until 3:00.

In the Bricks Höfe in Berlin-Schöneberg. The taverna has two entrances: Hauptstraße 27 (main entrance) and Belziger Straße 33.
Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday 17:00–01:00, Friday and Saturday 17:00–03:00. The kitchen serves until 00:00. Closed on Mondays.
On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns into a long Greek evening — with music late into the night, open until 3:00.
